Thermo Insulation LLC offers open cell & close cell services.

Thermo Insulation LLC offers open cell & close cell services.

Consult with us to learn about the differences between open cell and closed cell insulation and determine which type of insulation best suits your needs.

Open cell foam is composed of cells that are not completely encapsulated, making the foam soft and flexible.

Open cell foam is ideal for homes because it can reach all corners, as it is composed of lightweight and flexible elements. This type of foam spreads quickly, covering the desired areas. It is usually applied in attics, ceilings, and exterior walls due to its sound insulation capacity, in addition to being more economical than closed cell foam.

Closed-cell foam insulation is commonly used in commercial buildings because it is stronger and more rigid, providing structural support due to these properties.

Closed-cell foam is composed of cells compressed together, so air and moisture cannot penetrate the foam, making it more rigid and stable. This type of foam acts as a vapor barrier and is fire resistant.

In homes, this type of insulation is used in roofs, basements, and small spaces.

Choosing the right spray foam solution is essential for your building and budget, as each one has different applications, benefits, and costs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had attic insulation work completed by Thermo Insulation, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The crew was professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable about what they were doing. They explained the process thoroughly, worked efficiently, and left the space clean when they were finished. Since the insulation was installed, we’ve already noticed improved comfort and better temperature control throughout the house. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free experience, highly recommend. Thank you, Roberto, Eric, and Alex!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had insulation added to our garage ceiling and a wall, additionally a closet wall the team that came out did an incredible job. They called before arriving, we’re on time, we confirmed the work to be done and they began. They were neat, hung plastic to prevent dust in the house and vacuumed when they were done. My office is much warmer as a result. Highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alex has explained well to us before the project started on the day. I was a little concerned about the removal part of the outdated insulation, but it worked quite smoothly. The crew has also completed the installation part smoothly and we are happy to see the details of the entire project through the pictures Alex showed us.
